Permafloats
Permafloat dock floats are rotationally molded as a single piece, which eliminates the seams where two-piece floats eventually separate and take on water. The shell is nominally .150 inches thick, made from virgin polyethylene with UV inhibitors, and it stands up to sun, salt, fresh water, debris, fuel, oil, and marine organisms.
Inside, each drum is filled with expanded polystyrene containing no CFCs or HCFCs, so a punctured float still floats. The flat top has molded-in mounting slots that bolt directly to wood, steel, or aluminum framing.
