Square Cone Piling Caps
Square cone piling caps do two jobs at once. The cap seals the cut top of a square timber piling against rain and standing water, which is where internal rot almost always starts. The cone shape then discourages gulls, pelicans, and cormorants from perching, which keeps the mess off your dock.
Our square cone caps are molded from UV-stabilized polypropylene and polyethylene, sized to fit square pilings from roughly 3.5 inches up to 20 inches. Black caps carry the longest service life, with white and gray available where appearance matters more.
