Hurricane Preparation
When it comes to hurricanes, the most important element is securing your dock and everything associated. Our large cast aluminum cleats are ideal for exactly this, giving you ample room to tie-down anything and everything on your dock.
Winds and high tides will bring foreign objects bumping into your dock. It's imperative to have ample dock bumpers, such as our heavy duty inflatable corner bumpers and dock wheels.
If your boat is not on a lift, the SlideMoor system was created for exactly this! As your boat oscillates with the tides and winds, the SlideMoor system keeps your boat in-line, while allowing "give" and "slide" to prevent ropes and cleats from ripping.
If you've got a dock box, don't be afraid to bolt it into your dock decking, ensuring it doesn't float away. It's always better safe than sorry—prepare ahead of time!
