• Circle / Controlled Area — Marks areas with specific rules or restrictions, such as Slow No Wake or Idle Speed zones.
• Square / Information — Provides helpful information including directions, services, and locations like Marina Ahead.
• Diamond / Hazard Warning — Warns of hazards such as rocks, shoals, shallow water, or submerged objects.
• Diamond with Cross / Exclusion Area — Indicates areas that are off-limits to all boaters, such as swim areas or restricted zones.
