STYROFOAM brand buoyancy billets are the flexible option in dock flotation. Because they can be cut to fit, they retrofit into existing float compartments and drop into odd-shaped frames where a molded drum will not go.

They also solve a problem drums cannot: recessing the billet inside the frame directly beneath the decking gives you an extremely low freeboard without giving up buoyancy. That is why kayak launches, canoe docks, and competitive rowing facilities specify them so often.

The closed-cell structure delivers strong, redundant buoyancy and does not corrode or break down into small particles under normal conditions. Light weight keeps installation labor down.
