Lag Bolts

Lag bolts do the work where you cannot get a nut on the back side: fastening ledgers to pilings, brackets to timber, and hardware to solid wood members. They thread directly into the lumber, which makes them fast to install and easy to inspect.

Our lag bolts come in hot-dipped galvanized and stainless, in the diameters and lengths dock framing calls for. Galvanized handles most freshwater work; stainless is the right call in salt, particularly where the lag is in the splash zone and will be wet more often than dry.

Predrill with the right pilot from our drill bits, and use washers under every head. Browse all bolts or send us your plan for a free material list.
