The 7 Step WIDE STEP Retractable Dock Ladder is designed for safe, comfortable, and durable access to docks, piers, swim platforms, and seawalls. Constructed from 1‑1/2" diameter 6063 T5 marine-grade aluminum tubing, this ladder is built for long-term corrosion resistance and structural integrity. Wide-step rungs measure 3.5" in depth, providing enhanced comfort and support compared to standard 2" rungs. Each step features extruded grooves to ensure secure, slip-resistant footing, even in wet conditions. The ladder is suitable for both fresh and saltwater environments. The standard base length is 25", with an optional shorter 14.5" base available from the selection menu. Steps are spaced 12" apart, with a depth and width of 3.5" each. Handles extend 14" deep and 23 1/4" above the dock deck, while the overall ladder width is 21". The ladder supports a maximum load of 650 lbs. Handles are secured with 2000 lb shear-factor stainless aircraft bolts for added safety. Mounting requires four 1/2" diameter bolts (not included), with length depending on the structure.
