Shorter base versions may reduce the number of steps by one, so it is important to select the correct ladder length for your dock. Mounting requires four 1/2" diameter bolts (two for each handle), and bolt lengths vary depending on your dock structure. Stainless or galvanized hardware from a local supplier is recommended. Overall ladder width is 21", with a handle bracket depth of 8" and handle height of 26" above the dock deck. Step spacing is 12", with rung depth/width of 2". The ladder is rated for a maximum load capacity of 650 lbs. Handles are secured using stainless steel aircraft-grade bolts with 2000 lb shear strength for added safety.
