Extruded surface grooves on the steps ensure slip-resistant footing, making this ladder safe even when wet. Base & Deployment: The ladder comes with a standard 25" base, and a shorter 14.5" base option is available through the product options menu for tighter spaces. When fully deployed, the 3-step ladder extends 36" below the dock, while the shorter base option reduces the reach to 24". Mounting: Installation requires four 1/2" diameter bolts (two per handle), with bolt length depending on the dock or platform structure. Hardware can be sourced from local suppliers in stainless steel or galvanized finish for durability and corrosion resistance.
