WoodRx Clear Water Repellent is a water based, non-yellowing, water repellent designed to penetrate, seal, and protect exterior wood surfaces from water damage. WoodRx Clear Water Repellent employs silicone technology which produces water repellency and it also contains an increased level of fungicide which resists mildew growth.
Recommended Uses: For use on virtually all exterior wood surfaces such as sidings, specialty hardwoods, pressure treated lumber, garden furniture, playhouses and log/timber frame homes. Do not apply over previously sealed, painted, or stained wood surfaces, unless it has been previously sealed with this same product. Surfaces that have been sealed or coated with other products will likely need to be completely stripped of the product. Contact one of our sales associates for assistance.
Product Application Overview: WoodRx Clear Water Repellent can be applied using a pump garden sprayer, airless sprayer, brush, roller, or foam pad. Do not apply when threat of rain exists or when surface temperatures are below 40°F. Coverage: WoodRx Clear Water Repellent covers up to 400 square feet per gallon (per coat), but may be less depending on the age, porosity, and contour of the surface being coated. Two coats are always recommended for maximum performance.
