The 4 Step Floating Dock Retractable Dock Ladder provides a reliable and durable solution for accessing floating docks, piers, and small waterfront platforms. Constructed entirely from 6063 T5 Marine Grade Aluminum, this ladder is corrosion-resistant and engineered for long-term use. Steps and frame are TIG-welded for maximum strength and durability. Ladder rungs are grooved to ensure slip-resistant footing in both fresh and salt water environments. Shorter base versions may reduce the number of steps by one, so it is important to select the correct ladder length for your dock. Mounting requires four 1/2" diameter bolts (2 for each handle). Bolt lengths vary depending on the dock structure, and stainless or galvanized hardware from a local supplier is recommended. Overall ladder width is 21", with a handle bracket depth of 8" and a handle height of 26" above the dock deck. Step spacing is 12", with rung depth/width of 2", and the ladder is rated for a load capacity of 650 lbs. Handles are secured using stainless steel aircraft-grade bolts with 2000 lb shear strength for added safety. Steps are fully welded, and handles are bolted using aircraft-grade bolts. This ladder is UPS shippable for convenience.
