The 6 Step WIDE STEP Retractable Dock Ladder is engineered for durability, comfort, and safe dock access, ideal for residential and commercial waterfront applications. Constructed from 1‑1/2" diameter 6063 T5 marine-grade aluminum tubing, this ladder provides long-term corrosion resistance and structural integrity. Wide-step rungs measure 3.5" in depth, offering enhanced comfort and support compared to standard 2" rungs. Each rung features extruded grooves to ensure slip-resistant footing, even in wet conditions. The ladder is suitable for both fresh and saltwater applications. The standard base measures 25", with an optional shorter 14.5" base available from the selection menu. Steps are spaced 12" apart, with a depth and width of 3.5" each. Handles extend 14" deep and 23 1/4" above the dock deck, while the overall ladder width is 21". The ladder has a maximum load capacity of 650 lbs. Handles are secured with 2000 lb shear-factor stainless aircraft bolts for safety. Mounting requires four 1/2" diameter bolts (not included), with length depending on the structure.
