Flex Master Standard Dock Fender

Flexmaster Dock Fenders are ideal for rough conditions and are designed to handle most boats ranging from 30' to 90'. They are extruded from a special PVC compound that is UV resistant and won't be affected by marine borers or barnacles. Choose from black or white color, neither will mark your boat. Flexmaster Fenders are designed to mount to any nominal 2" x 4" or 4" x 4" pressure treated or plastic lumber, which is sold seperately. Flexmaster aluminum fender brackets are also available for docks without raised pilings.

NOTE: Unmounted Flexmaster fenders do not come pre-drilled for mounting to the piling, so please read the installation tips below:

Installation Tips for Unmounted Flexmaster:

1. Mount a recycled plastic 2" x 4" or 4" x 4" to the wooden piling at the appropriate height.
   - On 2" x 4" installations, most customers use a minimum of three 1/2" x 5" lag bolts (spaced at 30" on center maximum).
   - On 4" x 4" installations, most customers use a minimum of three 1/2" x 7" lag bolts (spaced at 30" on center maximum).
2. Slide the unmounted Flexmaster Fenders over the installed 2" x 4" or 4" x 4", then nail or screw in place using 1-1/2" long type 316 stainless steel ring shank roofing nails or stainless steel screws. Recommended spacing for nails or screws is 6" to 8" on center, along both sides.
3. A Flexmaster end cap may then be added to the top to dress up your fender installation, giving it a clean, professional look.
