Marine-Grade Aluminum Gangways Our aluminum gangways are constructed with marine-grade aluminum and built to last in harsh saltwater environments. They feature frame welded, truss-style handrails for increased strength and non-slip knurled aluminum decking panels for safety. Aluminum gangways weigh much less than traditional wooden gangways and and can span much longer distances, making them a wise choice for many floating dock projects.
Our website features our most popular gangways with 3' or 4' widths, ranging in lenth from 8' to 30'. All are configured with a horizontal hinge at the top and wheels on the bottom. If wheelchair or hand truck access is needed, be sure to chose a model that includes a transition apron/plate. If you're in need of a different configuration or larger gangway, we are here to help! Our gangways can be manufactured up to 8' wide by 80' long! For larger sizes, decking options, different configurations, specific load ratings, or ADA-compliant gangways; please call for details.
When determining the gangway length required, the suggested minimum is 3-5 times the vertical drop (including water fluctuation) or as required by code.
