A dock wheel mounts to a piling or dock corner and rotates on contact, steering a drifting hull away rather than letting it grind along a fixed surface. On narrow slips and windy sites, wheels prevent the kind of repeat contact damage that bumpers alone will not stop.

Dock Builders Supply stocks dock wheels in several diameters and mounting styles, including inflatable dock wheels for larger-diameter coverage and solid wheels for high-abuse commercial use. All mount with standard through-bolt hardware to round or square members.
